The Anglican Church of Luxembourg is hosting its annual Service of Remembrance at Konvikt Chapel in Luxembourg city on Sunday 12 November 2023 (Remembrance Sunday in the UK) at 10:45.
Those interested in attending are asked to arrive and be seated at 10:45 at the latest, to allow for two minutes of silence at 11:00.
Representatives of embassies and diplomatic missions, His Majesty's Armed Forces and other associations and organisations will be present to lay wreaths.
In the United Kingdom, Remembrance Sunday, observed annually on the second Sunday in November, honours the contribution and service of military and civilian personnel from the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth during both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
