Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, announced rail traffic disruptions on the morning of Friday 12 April 2024.

Following a technical breakdown of the control station in Noertzange, rail traffic on line 60 between Esch-sur-Alzette and Bettembourg was interrupted in both directions. While traffic on line 60 has since resumed, rail traffic between Noertzange and Rumelange was also interrupted, and this disruption is currently still ongoing.

The CFL has confirmed that maintenance teams are on-site to resolve the problem. No data on the duration of the disruption is currently available. Updated details will be available on the website www.cfl.lu or via the CFL mobile application during this time.
