On the morning of Monday 11 March 2024, Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, reported disruptions to rail traffic due to technical problems in Bettembourg.
Due to a signal problem at Bettembourg railway station, traffic on the lines Luxembourg – Esch/Alzette – Rodange and Luxembourg – Thionville is currently disrupted in both directions. The CFL noted that its technical teams are on site to analyse the situation and solve the problem.
In light of this technical problem, train delays and cancellations are expected between Luxembourg and Pétange / Rodange and between Luxembourg and Thionville.
