Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, has announced that rail traffic is currently disrupted on line 90 between Bettembourg and Thionville (France).

Following an incident requiring the intervention of the emergency services near Bettembourg, the circulation of trains on line 90 between Bettembourg and Thionville is disrupted in both directions.

The CFL's teams, as well as the emergency services, are currently working on site to restore rail traffic. No data is currently available concerning the duration of this disruption.

The CFL has invited passengers to consult the timetable search on www.cfl.lu, as well as the CFL mobile application for more information on timetables and alternative means of transportation (bus lines RGTR 502, RGTR 501, RGTR 504, RGTR 503).

Update: The CFL later confirmed that rail traffic would gradually resume from around 14:30 on Wednesday 8 February 2023, following the intervention of the emergency services in Bettembourg. However, some delays may still occur.
