Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, has announced that rail traffic is currently disrupted on line 10 between Ettelbruck and Goebelsmuhle, in both directions.
The disruption follows an incident requiring the intervention of the emergency services at Michelau railway station in north-eastern Luxembourg.
The CFL have set up a substitute bus service to transport passengers along this rail section. These buses run from Ettelbruck to Goebelsmuhle and vice versa.
CFL's teams and the emergency services are currently on site working to restore train circulation as soon as possible.
It is not yet know how long this disruption will last.
Timetables and traffic alternatives are detailed on the website www.cfl.lu and on the CFL mobile application.
Update: The CFL has since confirmed the gradual resumption of rail traffic, although some delays and cancellations may still occur.
