On Saturday 14 June 2025, St George's International School in Luxembourg-Hamm hosted its annual Summer Fayre, drawing crowds of students, their families and other community members to celebrate a (mostly) sunny day of culture, food and entertainment.
The school grounds came alive with colourful stalls representing various countries, including Spain, Portugal, Ukraine, Pakistan and South Africa, among others. They offered traditional dishes and cultural items, giving visitors a taste of the international community that makes up St George’s - and indeed Luxembourg.
Local clubs and organisations were also present, with the British-Luxembourg Society (BLS) and the Anglican Church of Luxembourg among the participants. Chronicle.lu had a stand as well, offering visitors free copies of its Community Directory publication.
Children enjoyed a range of fun activities, such as face painting and arts and crafts.
Among the highlights were musical performances by St George's students, showcasing the school's young creative talent and contributing to the lively atmosphere of the day.
