UK Universities Present at ISL University Fair

On Wednesday 22 January 2025, the International School of Luxembourg (ISL) held a University Fair with representatives of ten UK universities present.

The UK universities included Leeds Arts University, Royal Holloway University of London, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Sussex, Cardiff University, Falmouth University, University of Essex, University of Surrey and Brunel University London.

Talking with Chronicle.lu, the event organiser Martin Peel, College Counsellor at the ISL, said "we have ten universities here and from across the United Kingdom offering a wide range of course choices and this event is really for our students to start opening their eyes and give them an opportunity to ask questions of University representatives".

He said that ISL students might be interested in find out about where that University is, why they offer the courses they do, what sort of provision is available for accommodation, what it is like to live there, etc. He continued by confirm it is a good way for students to begin to research the next phase of their lives.

He confirmed that the Universities like to come to visit Luxembourg because they know that they are good students; they have a history of going to the UK. He concluded "They like having international students on their campus in the cultural life on their campus. So the universities here are all really keen to be here and we are very happy to welcome them".
