Luxembourg's Ministry of Education, Children and Youth has announced the cancellation of all classes at the International School of Differdange (EIDE) on Thursday 21 November 2024.
After a fire broke out on the evening of Wednesday 20 November 2024 in a rubbish disposal room, all classes at the EIDE primary and secondary school on the Differdange site have been cancelled for Thursday.
The ministry clarified that the school buildings on the campus were not affected. However, for safety reasons, the power had to be cut off and checks will take place throughout the day.
