The International School of Luxembourg has announced that its recent graduates received their International Baccalaureate (IB) results this week, with a 96% pass rate.

Commenting on these results, outgoing ISL Director Nicki Crush said: “This pass rate would already have been considered superb in normal times. Yet it is even more impressive if you think about how challenging the two last years have been and it undeniably attests to the high-level of resilience of our students”. 

A total of 101 ISL students sat this year's IB exams. 

Out of a total score of 45 points:
  • Three students achieved a perfect score of 45;
  • 15.4% of students achieved 40 points or above;
  • 43% achieved 36 points or above;
  • 83% achieved 30 or above points. 

The average result for ISL students was 35 out of 45 points; the world average was 33 out of 45. The average pass rate worldwide was 89%.

These results allow access to the most competitive universities

Director Nicki Crush concluded: “I would like to congratulate our students for their amazing achievements and also thank our passionate teachers and staff members who work hard every day to inspire our students”.
