Following the broadcast last week of the first two episodes of the new "Pass the Mic" radio show by students from St George's International School Luxembourg, episodes 3 and 4 will be broadcast at 16:00 this Thursday 16 April and Friday 17 April respectively.

"Pass the Mic" is aimed at battling social isolation during the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis. It involves a team of three 14-15 year-old GCSE Media students (Year 10) who have launched this new 10-episode show for Radio Ara by sharing messages from within St George's school community and beyond.

The radio show concept is simply bringing people together. These shows include a comedy battle challenge, children's books excerpt readings, music for all ages and a range of messages - the team have already received 100+ song requests and messages from students, staff, parents and friends/family from the first two episodes.
Future shows will also feature some reflection on how the crisis is impacting politics around the globe by Year 10 Politics students.

Pass the Mic can be listened to on Radio Ara (102.9 and 105.2 FM; 102.0 on most cable networks) and online (globally) at http://stream.ara.lu/stream.mp3 or https://ara.lu/listen.html.
