This Saturday, 4 April 2015, will see the first of the season's bi-weekly Klouschtergaart market which will be held at the foot of the Bock Promontory in Luxembourg-Grund.
The Klouschtergaart will feature plants traditionally grown in Luxembourg and are conserved by harvesting the seeds. Visitors to the market will have the opportunity to receive free rare and valuable seeds collected in the Klouschtergaart and to ask questions to those working there.
The Klouschtergaart agro-biodiversity project benefits from a favorable microclimate enabling native species to become established and more resilient. The annual harvest of seeds ensures their durability.
Vegetables, herbs and flowers are grown at the Klouschtergaart.
