Laura Thorn has been selected to represent Luxembourg at this year's Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in Basel, Switzerland.
The 25-year-old Luxembourgish singer won the national competition, the Luxembourg Song Contest (LSC), held at the Rockhal in Esch-Belval on Saturday 25 January 2025.
She will take her winning song, "La poupée monte le son" (the doll turns up the volume), to the ESC stage in Basel in May 2025. Her appearance will mark the second time Luxembourg competes at Eurovision since the country's comeback in 2024 (after 31 years). She will follow in the footsteps of TALI (Tali Golergant), who represented Luxembourg in Malmö, Sweden, last year.
The other competing acts at the Rockhal on Saturday were One Last Time, MÄNA, Zero Point Five, Rafa Ela, Rhythmic Soulwave and Luzac.
