Ukrainian band Go_A performed at the Kulturfabrik in Esch-sur-Alzette on Thursday 21 June 2024 as part of the UA Days programme.

The two-time Eurovision competitor brought a mixture of Ukrainian folklore and electronic beats to the stage, along with guitar solos and traditional instrument sopilka. Their songs are known for promoting Ukrainian culture on the international stage as the band embarks on a summer tour around Europe.

The event also offered food from the Ukrainian food truck and a possibility to buy a variety of crafts from the Ukrainian market. A photo wall featuring LUkraine's emblem allowed the visitors to snap pictures and celebrate the organisation's ten-year anniversary.

The concert began at 20:30 with a performance from Luxembourgish artist DJ Mike MC who warmed up the crowd for the main event. An hour later, members of Go_A greeted the audience by playing their Eurovision songs "Shum" and "Solovey". Over 200 people attended the concert, dancing and waving Ukrainian flags.

The lead singer, Kateryna Pavlenko, often interacted with the attendees by encouraging them to sing along and dance with each other to show unity and togetherness promoted by the songs. There was also an auction of multiple merchandise items, including the sopilka itself. The proceeds went to help LUkraine's mission to assist in the evacuation of families from the Donetsk region devastated by the ongoing war.

The final song was the Ukrainian national anthem, during which many people placed their right hand on their hearts and sang along. There was also a brief opportunity to take photos with the band members after the concert.

UA Days in Luxembourg is a celebration of connectivity between Ukrainian and Luxembourgish cultures, taking place throughout June with multiple events.
