This Saturday 6 May 2017, the Luxembourg Clarinet Choir will perform at Klarinettessen 2017 in the Opderschmelz, starting from 20:00.
The Luxembourg Clarinet Choir, founded in 1987, has some thirty permanent members and consists of professional clarinettists and students from the Conservatories and Music Schools of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The choir represents the whole family of clarinets: from the small clarinet to the bass clarinet, through the "normal" bb clarinet, the alto clarinet, the bass clarinet and the viola clarinet.
The ensemble has confirmed its qualities during numerous concerts in Luxemburg, France, Germany, Belgium and Sweden and has played with prominent soloists such as Eduard Brunner, Shirley Brill, Johannes Gmeinder, Michel Arrignon, Jean -Philippe Vivier, Olivier Dartevelle.
Since 2011, the Luxembourg Clarinet Choir regularly participates in the European Clarinet Fest in Ghent.
