Ambient electronic group Napoleon Gold is making for China to take part in the Mars en Folie festival of “francophonie” bringing together a network of 17 Alliance Francaises across China, together with the embassies of Belgium, Switzerland, Canada and, for the first time this year, Luxembourg.

In a series of concerts in 12 cities between 11 and 31 March, five bands including Napoleon Gold, come together for a celebration of French language music and culture. The other bands are KKC Orchestra, a French hip hop band playing modern, electric music, Belgian rap duo, Les R’tardataires,who fearlessly pursue uniqueness and rise above the constraints of words, Quebec singer-songwriter Keith Kouna,who possesses the passion of a rocker and the sentimentality of a poet, and Swiss rocker and songwriter, LiA, whose music inspires with soothing melodies.

Napoleon Gold will perform inShanghai on 25 March, Guangzhou on 28 March, Inchen on 30 March and the final concert in Hong Kong on 31 March.
