
On Monday 13 June 2016, the Fédération Luxembourgeoise des Auteurs et Compositeurs (FLAC) will be holding a round table on the broadcasting of Luxembourgish music through the country's audiovisual media.
The panel will be composed of representatives of the main radio stations, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Communication, Sacem and music:LX, as well as musicians/composers and publishers. The round table will assess the current sitution, analyse the causes of this condition and finally put forward solutions for the future based on proposals from all parties concerned.
The round table will be led by Céline Agnès of Radio ARA and Patrick Versall of the Lëtzebuerger Journal. The results will be summarised and presented at the Assises de la Culture in early July 2016.
The event will take place at 19:00 at the Plateforme of Rotondes in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie. The event is free and will be followed by a drink. For more information, click here.
