In June 2016, resilient thrash metal bands Anthrax and Slayer will return to Den Atelier after performing together in November 2015 alongside Kvelertak.

First formed in 1981 by guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker, Anthrax has aptly demonstrated its deserved title as one of the 'Big Four' thrash metal legends (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer & Anthrax) with no less than 11 albums produced and over 12 million records sold.

Their latest studio album, "For All Kings", was released in February earlier this year and will be performed for a crowd at Den Atelier on Thursday 9 June 2016. Doors will open at 19:00. Tickets cost 28€ and can be purchased here.

Meanwhile, a Californian-born thrash metal band which was also formed in 1981 will be performing on Friday 24 June 2016. Slayer will make its return with 12th studio album "Repentless".

Thirty-four years into its career, Slayer is a five-time nominated, two-time Grammy Award-winning metal juggernaut which sold 4.9 million albums in the US between 1991 and 2013.

Doors will open for the Slayer show at 19:00. Tickets cost 38€ and can be purchased here.
