Local band Soulhenge has taken their first steps up in the world of music after winning a cash prize from ING Luxembourg.
They first received recognition from ING in 2013 when they were awarded the “Coup de cœur du Centre de Ressources et ING” and, two years later, they were awarded “Best Promotion”at the Screaming Fields 2015 music festival.
The festival, organised by the Rocklab, brought together several bands composed of young Luxembourgers (aged between 12 and 20 years) who played in professional conditions in front of an audience on stage at Rockhal’s Club. Soulhenge won the award that brought with it a cash prize intended to help the young musicians finance merchandising.
On 18 February 2016, three of the band’s members pitched their project at the ING Luxembourg head office which involved buying Tshirts displaying their brandnew logo. Their presentation a success, they subsequently received their prize from Uilson Castro, Head of Retail Investments.
Soulhenge is a modern metal band from the north of Luxembourg that was formed in December 2012. In 2014, the band released their first album "Fragments" on the Food For Your Senses Festival and continued to grow their fanbase. With the new frontman joining in 2015, the band is ready to continue their quick evolvement and currently have a new EP is in the making. Its five members include Milian (Guitars) Yannick (Guitars) Joe (Drums) Charel (Bass) and Ozzy (Vocals).
