Electro trio Say Yes Dog have released their very first album, entitled 'Plastic Love', which they will be performing at various venues around Europe from September to November 2015.
The story of how Say Yes Dog was created is an unusual one. Electronic music fans Aaron Ahrends, Paul Rundel and Pascal Karier were desperate to get to Fusion Festival, but when the festival was announced as already full, the trio sent a home-filmed video of their performance and sent it in, incredibly given an opportunity by the festival.
However, with a too-short set, the group quickly wrote more songs under the flagship band name 'A Friend'. Under the same name the group went on to produce their EP themselves, managing to sell several thousand copies of their digital title track.
Success followed in the form of festival bookings such as Reeperbahn Festival in Germany, Eurosonic in Holland, The Great Escape in the UK and the renowned indie Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona.
The group has now reached another milestone with their first album, which will be released on the Disko Dogs Records label and distributed by Cargo in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and on the Wagram label in France. Digital distribution will be offered through Believe Digital.
