Den Atelier have announced that American guitarist Gary Clark Jr. will be coming to Luxembourg on Tuesday 14 July 2015.
A definition to adequately summarise Gary Clark Jr is harder and harder to pinpoint. Self-described as inspired by blues, jazz, soul country and hip hop, he is also a mind-blowing guitarist, a hypnotising songwriter and a smooth, soulful vocalist.
Gary Clark Jr.'s musical career was launched upon his meeting with promoter and proprietor of Austin music club, Antone's. It was at this club that Clark Jr. had the chance to play with a variety of musical icons who in turn helped him climb higher and higher in the music industry.
His debut album, Blak And Blu, represented a musical menagerie of rock, R&B, blues, soul, pop, psychedelia, punk and hip-hop. He has also performed two acoustic blues songs for the album soundtrack of critically-acclaimed film '12 Years A Slave', as well as captivated audiences internationally at festivals from Coachella to Glastonbury in the past.
