Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy has announced a decrease in petrol, diesel and heating oil prices.
As of Friday 8 May 2026, the price of unleaded 95 octane petrol will decrease by 5.7 cents to €1.789 per litre (including VAT), while unleaded 98 octane petrol will fall by 5.0 cents to €1.884 per litre.
Diesel prices will decrease by 9.7 cents to €1.837 per litre. Heating oil prices will also fall by 10.3 cents to €1.279 per litre.
Diesel for industrial and commercial use, as well as diesel for agricultural and horticultural use, will both decrease by 9.6 cents to €1.393 and €1.240 per litre, respectively.
Meanwhile, LPG and propane prices remain unchanged at €0.803 and €0.805 per litre, respectively.
