Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy has announced updated maximum fuel prices.

As of Tuesday 5 May 2026, the price of unleaded 95-octane petrol has increased by 4.8 cents, reaching €1.846 per litre (including VAT), while unleaded 98-octane petrol has risen by 4.6 cents to €1.934 per litre.

The price of diesel has gone up by 2.2 cents, now standing at €1.934 per litre.

Heating oil (10 ppm S, ≥ 1,500 litres) has increased by 2.0 cents to €1.382 per litre. Additional charges apply for smaller deliveries, depending on volume.

Diesel for industrial and commercial use has risen by 2.2 cents to €1.489 per litre, while diesel for agricultural and horticultural use has also increased by 2.2 cents, reaching €1.336 per litre.

LPG fuel and bulk propane prices remain unchanged, at €0.803 and €0.805 per litre respectively.

Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent weeks amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
