The City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced it will carry out road surface renewal works on rue de Bonnevoie, between Avenue de la Gare and Rue du Fort Neipperg, taking place from Saturday 2 until Sunday 3 May 2026 at around 05:30.
During this period, rue de Bonnevoie will be closed to all traffic along the affected section. The Service Circulation will install appropriate signage, and in case of adverse weather conditions, the works will be rescheduled.
Several adjustments will affect municipal bus services.

Lines 2 and 9 towards Bonnevoie will divert via Boulevard d’Avranches, with F D Roosevelt Quai 2 and Wallis Quai 4 replaced by Avranches Quai 2. In the direction of the city centre, Wallis Quai 3 will be replaced by Avranches Quai 1.

Lines 3, 5 and 33 towards Bonnevoie will divert via Avenue de la Liberté and the Rocade de Bonnevoie. Stops F D Roosevelt Quai 2 and Wallis Quai 2 will be replaced by Gare Centrale Quai 2. Towards the city centre, Wallis Quai 1 will be replaced by Avranches Quai 1.

Line 7 towards Kirchberg will divert via the Rocade de Bonnevoie. Stops Léon XIII Quai 4, Gare Centrale Quai 1 and Wallis Quai 2 will be replaced by Léon XIII Quai 1, Rotonde Quai 1 and Gare Rocade Quai 1. In the direction of Baden-Powell, Wallis Quai 1, Gare Centrale Quai 2 and Léon XIII Quai 3 will be replaced by Gare Rocade Quai 2, Rotonde Quai 2 and Léon XIII Quai 2.

Line 29 towards Hesperange will divert via the Rocade de Bonnevoie, with Wallis Quai 1 and Gare Centrale Quai 2 replaced by Gare Rocade Quai 2.

Line CN8 will divert via Boulevard d’Avranches, with Wallis Quai 1 replaced by Avranches Quai 1.
