Luxembourg's National Roads Administration has announced upcoming road closures and diversions due to construction works on the A3 and A6 motorways.
As part of the widening of the A3 motorway, the National Roads Administration will carry out work on the Livange interchange from around 15:00 on Friday 6 September until around 11:00 on Sunday 8 September 2024.
The following roadblocks will be put in place during this period:
- the access road to the Livange interchange towards Luxembourg City;
- traffic on the A3 towards Luxembourg City will be reduced to one lane between the Livange interchange and the Aire de Berchem.
Traffic coming from the N31 and heading towards the A3 towards Luxembourg City will be diverted from the Livange interchange via the A3 towards Metz, the Croix de Bettembourg, the A13 towards Schengen, the Hellange interchange, the A13 towards Esch-sur-Alzette and the Croix de Bettembourg.
Moreover, the National Roads Administration will renew the road surface of the Bridel interchange of the A6 motorway from around 10:00 on Saturday 7 September until around 04:00 on Monday 9 September 2024.
The following roadblocks will be put in place:
- the access road to the Bridel interchange towards Luxembourg;
- the access road to the Bridel interchange towards Belgium;
- the exit from the Bridel interchange coming from Belgium;
- the exit from the Bridel interchange coming from Luxembourg.
Traffic coming from the CR181 and heading towards the A6 will be diverted from the Bridel interchange via the CR181, the N6 and the Strassen interchange.
Traffic coming from the A6 towards Luxembourg and heading towards Bridel will be diverted from the Bridel interchange via the A6, the Strassen interchange, the N6 and the CR181.
Traffic coming from the A6 towards Belgium and heading towards Bridel will be diverted from the Bridel interchange via the A6, the Mamer interchange, the N6 and the CR181.
