The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal road accident occurred on the CR153 between Dalheim and Medingen on Sunday 24 September 2023.
Shortly before 16:30 on Sunday, an off-road vehicle overturned on the road between Dalheim and Medingen. The passenger, a 28-year-old woman from Altwies, died from her injuries at the scene of the accident. After initial treatment on-site, the driver was taken to hospital for further treatment.
The public prosecutor's office has tasked a forensics team with investigating the accident.
The road was closed to traffic for the duration of the rescue operation and the accident investigation.
