The Grand Ducal police have called for witnesses in relation to two separate accidents on Luxembourg's roads.

The police are looking for witnesses after a car hit a cyclist in Vianden on Friday 23 June 2023. The accident occurred on Rue de Diekirch at around 12:10 on Friday. According to the police, the driver of the car fled the scene of the accident in the direction of Schoos (Fischbach). The police described the car in question as a white Mercedes (model CLA 180) with Luxembourgish number plates, with a damaged bumper following the accident.

In addition, the police are seeking witnesses in relation to a more recent accident involving a car and a motorycle. The accident took place on the A3 towards France at around 23:10 on Sunday 25 June 2023. According to initial findings, the driver had been driving dangerously, not far from the Dudelange-Centre motorway exit. The car hit one motorcyclist, who fell and suffered serious injuries. The car driver initially stopped but then left the scene of the accident without providing any contact details.
