The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a serious road accident occurred between Bissen and Vichten in central Luxembourg in the early hours of Monday 12 December 2022.
The accident took place on the CR306, between Bissen and Vichten, at around 01:30 on Monday. A motorist (the sole occupant of the vehicle) suffered serious injuries after his car went off the road in a bend and rolled over several times before coming to a stop in a ditch. The 28-year-old driver was ejected from the vehicle. After receiving first aid on site, the victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The public prosecutor's office was informed of the serious traffic accident and the road was closed to all traffic during the rescue operation. An accident report was drawn up.
