The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a motorist and a motorcyclist were seriously injured in two separate road accidents in Luxembourg on Wednesday 23 February 2022.
The police received reports of the first accident shortly after 07:00 on Wednesday. A motorist came off the road on the CR158 between Roeser and Bivange and hit a tree. The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The road was closed for the duration of the rescue and clearing work.
A second accident occurred around 12:50 on Wednesday on Rue Charles Kiefer in Grass. A delivery lorry attempted a turning manoeuvre to enter a private property but collided with an oncoming motorcyclist. The motorcyclist reportedly tried but failed to avoid the lorry. The motorcyclist suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment. Police officers recorded the accident.
