The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a car passenger was seriously injured in a road accident in Bettembourg on Sunday 20 February 2022.
Shortly before noon on Sunday, an accident occurred in a curve on the CR186 road between Kockelscheuer and Bettembourg. A car with two occupants skidded in the curve; the vehicle ended up on its roof.
The driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident, whilst the passenger suffered serious injuries and had to be freed from the car.
The public prosecutor's office was informed and ordered the collection of evidence.
The CR186 was closed between Bettembourg and Kockelscheuer for some time following the accident.
