The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a passenger suffered serious injuries in a car accident on the CR123, between Colmar-Berg and Cruchten, in central Luxembourg in the early hours of Friday morning.
Shortly after 01:00 on Friday 2 July 2021, a motorist lost control of his / her car in a right-hand bend and landed in the ditch just before the entrance to Cruchten.
Having heard loud noises, a resident went to the scene of the accident and immediately notified the emergency services.
The passenger was seriously injured in the accident and, after being removed from the vehicle and receiving first aid on site, was taken to hospital for further treatment. The driver suffered minor injuries.
The road was completely closed to traffic for the duration of the rescue and clearing work. An accident report was drawn up.
