The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a motorist suffered serious injuries in a car crash on the A4 on Tuesday evening.
Shortly after 23:00 on Tuesday, a car driver was driving along the A4 in the direction of Esch-sur-Alzette when he / she deviated from the lane at the Pontpierre motorway exit and landed in the side ditch.
The injured driver received emergency medical care on site before being taken to hospital for further examinations.
According to the police, an alcohol test proved that the driver had been under the influence. An accident report was drawn up.
