The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a serious traffic accident occurred between Stegen and Diekirch on the N14 on Wednesday afternoon.
At around 13:20 on Wednesday, a motorist came off the road, due to unknown circumstances, hit a tree and came to a standstill in a field.
The seriously injured woman, who was the sole occupant of the car in question, received emergency medical treatment on site before being taken transported to hospital for further medical care. According to initial information, the victim's injuries are not life-threatening.
The police drew up an accident report.
