CR122 accident; Credit: Police Grand-Ducale

The Grand Ducal Police have reported that two fatal accidents occurred on Luxembourg’s roads yesterday.

Around 06:30 on Tuesday morning, there was a serious head-on collision between a car and a motorcycle at the A4 motorway exit in Leudelange. The motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries a few hours later. The car driver suffered minor injuries.

The criminal police investigated the accident on site. Witnesses are asked to contact the police station in Esch-sur-Alzette via tel.: 244-501000 or email: police.esch@police.etat.lu.

Around 08:45 that same day, a car came off the road and collided head-on with an oncoming lorry on the CR122. The car driver, a 63-year-old woman from Gonderange, passed away at the scene. The lorry driver was uninjured.
