Luxembourg's Roads Administration has announced that roadworks will be carried out on the A13 and A6 motorways this weekend.

Works related to the renewal of the wearing course on the A13 between the Biff roundabout and the Sanem interchange will be undertaken from 20:00 on Friday 2 October until 06:00 on Monday 5 October 2020.

During this period, the following road sections will be closed to traffic: the A13 between the Biff roundabout and the Sanem interchange towards the Lankelz junction; the Biff tunnel between the A13 and the N31 in both directions; the feeder road from the N31B and in the direction of the A13; the feeder road from the roundabout towards the A13.

Traffic coming from the Biff roundabout and the N31 (Pétange) and towards the A13 will be diverted via the N31, CR175A and CR175 back onto the A13 towards the Lankelz junction. Traffic coming from the Lankelz junction of the A13 and heading for Pétange will be diverted via the Biff roundabout onto the N31.

Preparatory work relating to the closure of the feeder roads will begin around 19:00 on Friday 2 October 2020.

On Sunday 4 October 2020, the Roads Administration will carry out a project relating the the removal of trees along the A6 motorway between the Bridel interchange and the Mamer interchange.

The A6 between the Bridel interchange and the Mamer interchange towards the Belgian-Luxembourg border will be closed to traffic on Sunday from around 08:00 until around 18:00. The A6 between the Mamer interchange and the Bridel interchange in the direction of the Croix de Cessange will be reduced to one lane during this time.

Traffic coming from the Croix de Cessange on the A6 and towards the Belgian-Luxembourg border will be diverted from the Bridel interchange via the CR181 (Strassen) and the N6 (Mamer) to the Mamer interchange. Traffic coming from the Belgian-Luxembourg border of the A6 and in the direction of the Croix de Cessange will be diverted between the Mamer interchange and the Bridel interchange via the emergency lane and the speed limit will be reduced to 70 km / h.

Two-way traffic disruptions are expected throughout the day.
