Luxembourg's Roads Authority will carry out works related to ventilation tests in Gousseldange tunnel on the A7 motorway this Saturday.
The tunnel works will take place between the Lorentzweiler and Mersch interchanges on Saturday 20 June 2020, from 08:00 until approximately 18:00.
During this time, the following road sections will be closed to traffic:
- The A7 motorway between the Lorentzweiler and Schoenfels interchanges in the direction of Friedhof;
- The A7 motorway between the Mersch and Lorentzweiler interchanges in the direction of the Grünewald junction;
- The access road at the Lorentzweiler interchange from the N7 in the direction of Friedhof on the A7;
- The access road at the Mersch interchange from the N8 in the direction of the Grünewald junction on the A7.
Traffic from Friedhof to the Grünewald junction on the A7 is diverted at the Mersch interchange via the N8 and N7 up until the Lorentzweiler interchange. Similarly, traffic from the Grünewald junction towards Friedhof on the A7 is diverted at the Lorentzweiler interchange via the N7 up until the Mierscherbierg interchange.
As part of these works, the A7 motorway will be blocked off between the Lorentzweiler and Schoenfels interchanges in both directions this Saturday from around 08:00..
