The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a serious traffic accident involving a scooter and a lorry occurred on the CR138 in Bech, in eastern Luxembourg, over the weekend.
Shortly before noon on Saturday, the police received reports of a road accident between a lorry and a scooter in Bech. Officers were informed that the scooter driver was travelling with several friends from Herborn in the direction of Bech and was making a bend in the oncoming lane where he / she collided with the lorry.
The scooter driver was taken to hospital and a drug test was carried out on the lorry driver; police have reported that the latter tested positive.
As of yesterday, the scooter driver's condition remained critical.
