Luxembourg's Roads Authority has announced the closure of the slip roads at the Helfenterbruck interchange on the A6 motorway from this Friday evening until Monday morning.

Works related to the reorganisation of slip roads on the A6 and the N34 will see the following closures between 20:00 on Friday 11 October and 06:00 on Monday 14 October 2019: the slip road (S5) at the Helfenterbruck interchange from Gasperich Cross towards the N34; the slip road at the Helfenterbruck interchange from the N34 towards Sterpenich; the slip road (S5) at the Helfenterbruck interchange from Sterpenich towards the N34; the slip road at the Helfenterbruck from the N34 towards the Gasperich Cross; the N34 between the junction between N5 junction at Helfent and the Bourmicht business area in Bertrange.

Traffic coming from the Gasperich Cross towards the N34 (Bertrange) will be diverted via the Strassen interchange, the N6, the CR181 and the N34. Traffic coming from Luxembourg-Centre (N5) wanted to take the A6 will be diverted via the N5, the CR181, the N35 and the N6 until the Strassen interchange and then onto the A6.

Similarly, traffic coming from the Bourmicht business area towards the A6 will be diverted via the N34, then via the CR181 and the N6 until the Strassen interchange, then onto the A6. Traffic from Luxembourg-Centre (N5) travelling towards the Bourmicht business area will be diverted via the N5, the CR181, the N35 and the N34. Finally, traffic coming from Sterpenich going towards the N34 (Bertrange) will be diverted bia the Cessange Cross on the A4 towards Luxembourg until Merl. Traffic will then flow back onto the Cessange Cross, on the A6 until the Strassen interchange, the N6, the CR181 and the N34.
