ALD Automotive and LeasePlan have unveiled Ayvens, the new international mobility brand which brings together the two organisations under a single identity.
ALD Automotive announced it had completed its acquisition of LeasePlan back in May 2023. On Monday 16 October 2023, the two companies confirmed their new branding, which represents a significant step following the launch of their three-year strategic development plan last month.
The promise of this new brand is to "make life flow better" by ensuring simpler, smarter and more sustainable mobility, noted ALD Automotive and LeasePlan in a press release.
In Luxembourg, only ALD Automotive is part of the new group and becomes Ayvens, still under the direction of Dominique Roger in his capacity as Country Managing Director.
LeasePlan Luxembourg was acquired by Leasys, a brand owned by Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance.
The new Ayvens group has set its sights on becoming the leading global player in sustainable mobility. With the world's largest fleet of multi-brand electric vehicles out of a total of 3.4 million vehicles managed, the group said it aims to lead the way to net zero emissions and continue the digital transformation of the sector.
The new branding includes a new name and logo. The companies described Ayvens as a memorable name, "simple but statutory, a name that indicates the path to follow to progress". The accompanying logo reportedly represents the two companies "coming together to form one team, working together towards a common goal, with at its core a strong, stable foundation and an ascending flowing form symbolising progress and dynamism."
The new brand, designed by Dragon Rouge, will be rolled out in 2024 across the 44 countries where ALD Automotive and LeasePlan are present. It will apply to all customer segments but also across all channels and touchpoints. In Luxembourg, this new brand will be fully operational at the start of the second quarter of 2024.
"Every day is an opportunity to get around better, we all have a role to play. By joining forces, our company is poised to lead the way toward widespread adoption of sustainable mobility through our scale, reach, service expertise and commitment to innovation," stated Tim Albertsen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ayvens, formerly ALD Automotive and LeasePlan.
