The Ville de Luxembourg released Wednesday the new times and prices of Luxembourgish language and culture classes that will be provided around the capital from February to July 2016.
The courses, based on the principled of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) developed by the Council of Europe, will be taught in the Gare, Bonnevoie and Cents districts of Luxembourg City and will involve extracurricular cultural activities.
Prospective students will be able to pre-register from the 25 January 2016 and make an appointment via the downloadable form available at www.vdl.lu, under the 'Culture et Loisirs' (Culture & Leisure) section. Final registration will then take place on 17, 18 and 22 February 2016 at the Rocade de Bonnevoie, 3 Rue du Laboratoire.
Registration costs €50.00 for 55 class hours and €100.00 for 110, which is to be paid in cash on site. A reduced fee of €10.00 is applied for job seekers registered with ADEM that are assigned to a language course by their placement officer, RMG beneficiaries assigned to a language course by the National Social Action Service (SNAS) and those in need recognised by the Luxembourg Office for Reception and Integration (OLAI) or signatory candidates from the Reception and Integration Contract (CAI). The voucher must be handed in on the day of final registration.
