On Tuesday 30 March 2021, Luxembourg's Ministry of Health reported 182 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) infections for Monday; there have been 743 fatalities (two new deaths since Monday) resulting from the virus to date.

182 Luxembourg residents tested positive on Tuesday from a total of 10,249 tests carried out the day before, representing 29.07 people per 100,000 inhabitants. The positivity rate was 1.78%. Wednesday 18 November 2020 marked the record daily high of 891 new cases. 

The average daily increase (over a 7-day period) is currently 243.00. The lowest (since the most recent wave started mid-October) was 113.00 on 19 January.

A total of 137 people are in hospital with the virus, including 25 patients in intensive care. 

As per figures from Tuesday 30 March 2021, there are currently 3,609 active infections known, whilst a total of 56,903 people have recovered from the virus to date. The effective reproductive rate in Luxembourg stands at 1.02.

As of Tuesday, a total of 89,684 vaccinations had been carried out in Luxembourg; 2,763 individuals received their first dose of the vaccine and 365 received their second dose on Monday.

Since 24 August 2020, the Ministry of Health's published figures only include resident infection numbers, as opposed to earlier figures which included both residents and non-residents (i.e. cross-border workers).
