The City of Luxembourg is the latest municipality to announce the introduction of a free transport service to and from the COVID-19 vaccination centre at Hall Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.

The service, offered by the City of Luxembourg's Service Autobus (Bus Department), is available to Luxembourg City residents who have received an invitation as part of Phases 2a and 2b of the national vaccination campaign (which concern persons aged 75 and over and those considered to be highly vulnerable due to pre-existing health conditions, respectively). To make use of the service, eligible residents should book their trip at least 24 hours before their appointment at the vaccination centre via tel.: 4796-2975 (Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 18:00). Users of the service will need to provide the date and time of their vaccination appointment, their name, place of residence and a telephone number where they can be contacted. The Service Autobus will then schedule a trip with a "Hello Taxi" vehicle, which will pick up the user at their home and take them to the vaccination centre. Once they have been vaccinated, users of the service should go the City of Luxembourg's Service Autobus stand near the exit of the hall, where an agent will organise their trip back home. Transport will be provided every day, during the opening hours of the vaccination centre, and users may be accompanied by one person.

The service will also be available to Luxembourg City residents during Phases 3a and 3b of the vaccination campaign (which concern persons aged 70 to 74 and those considered to be highly vulnerable due to pre-existing health conditions, respectively).
