Luxembourg's Ministry of Health has confirmed that technical issues led to inconsistencies in the official national COVID-19 statistics for Tuesday 8 December 2020.
The ministry explained that technical issues arose during the production of yesterday's daily report, which generated inconsistencies regarding the total number of tests and people having tested positive for coronavirus. This daily report has since been removed from the official COVID-19 website.
According to the Health Ministry, the steps required to remedy the issue are currently underway. Neither yesterday's nor today's daily report will be published until this issue has been resolved.
