BioneXt LAB, a private laboratory in Luxembourg, has announced that a new COVID-19 testing facility will open its doors in Leudelange on Thursday 26 November 2020.

To meet demand and reduce waiting times in its sampling centres, BioneXt LAB has decided to increase the number of its facilities performing COVID-19 PCR tests, extend its opening hours and introduce a smart ticketing system. A total of 22 centres across the country will be able to carry out PCR tests.

A new sampling centre will open its doors on Thursday in Leudelange, in the car park opposite the headquarters of Foyer Assurances (12 Rue Léon Laval, L-3372). The site, provided free of charge by Foyer Assurances and authorised by the municipality of Leudelange, will be accessible on foot, by bus (Leudelange-Foyer stop) or by car. Upon entering the site, motorists can scan a QR Code to access a digital ticket and then park in one of the 100 parking spaces. This ticket will indicate the progress of the queue in real time. Patients arriving on foot or by bus will be able to take a ticket at the kiosk and will have a sheltered and heated waiting area.

The COVID-19 PCR samples will be taken without an appointment, Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 06:30 to 12:00.

Other biological samples such as blood samples can be taken at BioneXt LAB in Leudelange (2-4 Rue du Château d'Eau, L-3364) without an appointment, Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 06:30 to 13:00, or in the country's Picken Doheem sampling centres.
