The Diplomatic Council (DC) Luxembourg Asbl has announced it will host a celebration for the tenth anniversary of the association with an evening of dinner and music at Chez Bacano in Luxembourg-Clausen at 18:30 on Thursday 26 November 2026.
The event, described as a “relaxed Fado evening”, will feature food and music with spaces available at €50 per place.
Fado is an expressive, melancholic traditional music and poetry genre from Portugal that translates literally to "fate" (from the Latin “fatum”). Recognised as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, fado is more than just a musical style; it represents a core pillar of Portuguese national identity and an emotional outlet for exploring life's hardships, longing and destiny.
