On Tuesday 27 October 2026, CFL Mobility reported that its FLEX Charity Cars campaign had raised €5,400 for "Op de Patten", an animal-assisted therapy and educational project operated by Solina Solidarité Jeunes.

From Tuesday 1 September to Thursday 22 October 2026, two fully electric Volkswagen ID.4 vehicles were available at the FLEX station at Luxembourg Central Station (P&R Gare). According to CFL Mobility, customers could book the vehicles as usual through the FLEX carsharing app, with 100% of the revenue from booked hours and kilometres driven donated to the selected project.

Over the seven-week campaign, the two Charity Cars covered a total of 5,673 kilometres, helping to raise €5,400, including an additional contribution from CFL Mobility.

The Op de Patten project supports children and young people facing difficult social, family or psychological circumstances. Through structured interaction and activities with animals, the project helps develop trust, self-confidence, a sense of responsibility and social skills.

According to CFL Mobility, the proceeds will help cover the project's ongoing operating costs, including food and other essential supplies for the animals, educational training materials, facility maintenance and qualified staff.

Commenting on the initiative, Pit Reiter, General Manager of CFL Mobility, said: "With our Charity Cars, we want to show that carsharing is not only a practical and sustainable mobility solution but can also bring people together and make a positive difference."

Rosa Manzari, Educational Director at Solina Solidarité Jeunes and responsible for the Op de Patten project, said: "This donation is a valuable contribution to our ‘Op de Patten’ project and highlights the importance of strong partnerships and collective social responsibility. We are delighted by this initiative from FLEX and would like to thank the many customers who took part in the campaign."
