The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Luxembourg has announced that it will organise a traditional Korean pouch-making workshop, set to take place at Cercle Cité in Luxembourg-Ville on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2026, as part of the Sejong Culture Academy 2026 programme.
Entitled “Hanbok: The Beauty of Korean Dress”, the workshop will introduce participants to traditional Korean crafts, offering them the opportunity to create their own decorative pouch. Participants can choose between making a “bokjumeoni” (lucky pouch) or a “bottari” (traditional wrapping pouch).
The workshop will take place under the guidance of Korean cultural expert Oh Hyunjeong, with two three-hour sessions scheduled over the weekend.
The first session will take place on Friday from 14:00 to 17:00, followed by a second session on Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00. Both sessions will be held in Room 502.
