On Saturday 25 October 2025, the Royal Air Forces Veterans and Friends (RAF V&F) Luxembourg asbl announced that its Gala Autumn Wings Ball (formerly the RAFA Ball) will take place on Saturday 10 October 2026 at Novotel hotel in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
The evening will begin at 18:30 with a welcome aperitif and will continue with the dinner at 20:00. Following dinner, a cash bar will be available and the evening will continue with music and dancing until 03:00.
According to RAF V&F Luxembourg, the starter will comprise gravlax and smoked salmon with horseradish cream and homemade brioche, followed by beef fillet with rosemary sauce, fondant potatoes and seasonal vegetables as the main course. A gourmet dessert plate will conclude the meal.
Unlimited house red, white and rosé wines, mineral water and Coca-Cola will be served during the meal until the digestif is served. Guests will then have a choice of whisky, mirabelle or Grand Marnier, accompanied by coffee or tea. Non-alcoholic options will be available upon request.
The dress code is black tie or uniform with miniature medals.

Novotel Kirchberg is also offering special accommodation rates for guests staying on Friday and Saturday nights. A single room costs €120 per night and a double room €140 per night, both including breakfast. Additional nights cost €225 for a single room and €245 for a double room. Also room bookings will be arranged through RAF V&F Luxembourg, with guests responsible for payment upon departure.
