The new edition of the "Just Arrived" guide for newcomers to Luxembourg will be available from mid-March 2019.
Written in French and English, the guide accompanies and guides new residents during the many administrative procedures and other procedures that may seem complicated when moving to a foreign country and a new city. These include finding a job or housing, opening a bank account, registering a car, shopping and finding recreational activities.
The new "Just Arrived" offers practical advice, tips and tricks, as well as a multitude of answers to the concrete questions of new residents to allow them to settle in to the Grand Duchy, more specifically Luxembourg City.
Beyond the administrative assistance, the guide is also a valuable tool for integration. It places a lot of emphasis on everyday life, presenting cultural sites and events, sports facilities, restaurants and bars, green spaces and associations that are an expression of this intercultural dynamic not only in the capital but also throughout the country.
The City of Luxembourg will distribute the guide, accompanied by an "Administrative procedures" booklet, free of charge to each future resident who visits the capital's Bierger-Center.
