Luxembourg's Ministry of Justice has announced the extension of certain deadlines following the end of the state of emergency.

In this context, deadlines which govern the introduction of the procedures of first instance before the jurisdictions, as well as the deadlines for the introduction of an appeal free of charge have been extended. This includes deadlines which expired during the state of emergency, which have been extended by two months, as well as deadlines expiring in the month following the entry into force of this law, which are postponed by one month.

Moreover, the evictions ordered in terms of residential or commercial lease and divorce have been suspended for one month. The suspension of the five-day period for birth declarations has also been extended by one month and the deadlines for making a declaration of cessation of payments to the registry have been suspended for six months.
