Luxembourg independent law firm DSM Avocats à la Cour announced on Wednesday the promotion of three of its lawyers and one staff member, effective 1 June 2020.

In continuing its development, DSM Avocats à la Cour has promoted Alessandra Medina, Héloïse Cuche and Quentin Martin to Senior Associate and Christelle Patard to Paralegal.

Commenting on these promotions, Mario Di Stefano, DSM Avocats à la Cour’s Managing Partner, said: "These promotions reward their investment in the firm and we are glad to have these individuals with us. Alessandra MEDINA has been Avocat à la Cour in DSM’s Luxembourg Commercial and Business Law, Employment & Social Security Law, Real Estate and Construction and Dispute Resolution departments since October 2019. Ms. Medina holds a master’s degree in law (Maîtrise en droit), with a minor in company law from the University of Lorraine. She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since September of 2016 and hosted conferences such as the recent webinar "Employer responsibilities during the public health crisis and employee rights" with Mario Di Stefano.

Héloïse CUCHE has been Avocat in DSM’s Luxembourg Digital, Banking and Financial Law, Commercial and Business Law, Corporate / Mergers and Acquisitions, Real Estate and Construction and Capital Markets departments since May 2017. Ms. Cuche holds a Master 2 in cross-border business law from the University of Lorraine, a Master 1 in business law from the University of Strasbourg as well as a professional certification in regulatory knowledge for market actors from France’s financial market authority, the AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers). She also gives French and English-language courses for Luxembourg’s salaried employee association (Chambre des salariés). She regularly presents at conferences such as the recent webinar "IT Partners: IT security is also ensured through your contracts—how can you protect yourself if your customers fall victim to a cyber attack?" with Renaud Le Squeren.

Quentin MARTIN has been Avocat in DSM’s Luxembourg Real Estate and Construction, Commercial and Business Law, Administrative and Public Law, Dispute Resolution and Restructuring & Insolvency departments since July 2018. Mr. Martin holds a Master 2 in civil and criminal justice from the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve as well as an undergraduate degree in law from the University of Namur.

Christelle PATARD has worked at DSM Avocats à la Cour since August 2017, first as Administrative Assistant and now as Paralegal.

At present, DSM Avocats à la Cour has over 30 lawyers and administrative team members.
